Jeffrey Lerner is an award winning content producer of highly acclaimed special features, electronic press kits, trailers, promos, interstitials, public service announcements, viral marketing materials, scripted narrative shorts, 360° VR tours, Academy show reels, behind-the-scenes specials, documentaries, audio commentaries, interactive and 3D content featured on broadcast television and cable television networks as well as DVD/Blu-ray disc and digital download releases of feature films and television programs from the major studios.
Over the course of more than twenty years, Jeffrey has also produced, directed, and written several national commercials, public service announcements, major motion picture marketing presentations, and network/cable television specials relating to the production of television and feature films.
Highlights include: The Legend of Tarzan, American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson, The LEGO Movie, American Horror Story, Scream Queens, The Walk and the Harry Potter film franchise.
Jeffrey was featured in Hollywood Reporter’s 2007 Digital 50 as one of the top 50 people working in digital media today and was also named “Leader in Home Entertainment” by Daily Variety in 2006.
In 2012, Jeffrey was invited to screen and discuss the award winning Citizen Kane DVD commentary he produced featuring Roger Ebert to a sold out audience at the 14th Annual Roger Ebert’s Film Festival (Ebertfest) in Champaign, Illinois.
In 2014, Jeffrey received the AP Council Commitment Award from the Producers Guild of America, one of the PGA’s highest honors for his work as the Guild’s AP Council Chair and his service as Vice President on the PGA’s National Board of Directors.
Jeffrey is a graduate of The University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and holds an MFA degree in Motion Picture, Television and Recording Arts from The Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts.
